Merry Christmas Ororo

DISCLAIMER: As always, I don't own the X-Men.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Ok, sorry this is so long. It felt kinda weird writing this, cuz I never really thought of Logan and Ororo being together before. Is this just dirty, or is it ok? Try not to flame me too much, ok? I'll cry if you do.

With snow lightly falling onto heavily blanketed ground, making the forest appear to be a winter wonderland of sorts. Logan stepped out of the pick-up, his boots sinking into the snow that inhabited the road shoulder. His breath fogged in the frigid winter air as snow flurried around him. From the other side of the pickup, Ororo stepped out, pulling her jacket closer around her, her own breath fogging in the air.

"Is this the place, Logan?" she asked, walking to meet him at the front of the truck. Her boots made soft sounds in the snow, her foot prints small compared to Logan's larger, heavier boots which made thudding sounds in the snow.

"Yeah," Logan replied, pulling a cigar from his coat pocket. "Now all we have teh do is find a tree." The two of them had been designated by the team to find a Christmas tree. Logan, not feeling in much of a Christmas spirit this year, and Ororo, not liking the frigid cold, were poor sports for the task. Nevertheless, they found themselves at the edge of a forest, about to embark on a search.

"We've been driving for what seems hours, let's hope we find one fast," Ororo muttered as Logan lit his cigar. Logan couldn't help but laughing. Back at the mansion, Ororo had tried to pretend to want to go Christmas tree hunting, but as soon as the two were alone in the truck, she started to complain. "It's just too cold out here," she said. "They should send Bobby!" Logan couldn't argue with her. Drake would fit in just fine in this freezer.

They started out, Logan taking the lead. There was a slope at the side of the road they had to descend to get into the forest, and Logan attempted to find the safest and easiest way down.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Ororo asked him, following close behind.

"Trust me, 'Ro," Logan replied. "If we want a good tree, we have teh work for it."

As Logan reached the bottom of the slope, he turned to give Ororo his hand. She took it, moving quickly to the bottom. They then stood, surrounded by evergreens of all types. Only the odd flake of snow reached the ground within the forest, yet it was still very cold. Their breath came out in gusts, and their faces were red with cold. Logan did not wear a hat, the tips of his ears a shade of ruby, but it did not bother him. He was used to the cold.

"There's a lake out here somewhere," he spoke, his voice startling a few birds who had not flown South. "Beyond the lake are good trees."

Ororo shivered. "What's wrong with these trees?" she inquired while pointing to the tree directly beside her. She knew the answer before Logan replied.

"They aren't full enough, and their needles are turning brown, see?" he took a branch carefully in his hand and pulled it down to show Ororo. "Most o' the trees by the road are dying. The farther out we go, the better the trees." Ororo simply shrugged, and watched Logan as he puffed on his cigar and looked around. He sniffed once or twice, then motioned for her to follow him.

They walked for what seemed a long time before Logan stopped, looking back at Ororo. Sure enough, he caught her in the act of shivering, and he looked concerned. "You ok, 'Ro?" he asked, walking closer to her. "You wanna go back?"

"I'm fine Logan. Just a little cold. I'm not going to let that stop us from getting a tree." She pulled her scarf tighter around her neck. "Beside, we'll be exiled if we go back empty handed."

Logan started chuckling, and began to take his coat off. "What are you doing?" Ororo demanded. "You will freeze!"

"Nah, I'm used teh the cold," Logan replied, "and I don't want teh have teh carry yeh back if you're frozen solid." Logan handed his coat to Ororo, and would not take it back. "Go on, I'll be fine."

Ororo took it grudgingly, for Logan wore only a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, gloves and boots now. Putting it on, she felt warmer already, for his coat still possessed his body heat. Zipping it all the way up, she could smell his cologne on the collar. For a slight instant, her stomach fluttered. Completely and utterly confused at the sudden emotion, Ororo simply followed Logan in silence, humming the occasional Christmas tune. This rewarded her with glances from Logan, who, with a raised eyebrow, shook his head and chuckled.

After a while, they came to a large, snow covered clearing which Ororo guessed was the lake. Logan stopped and looked out across it, as if measuring the distance.

"Are we going to have to cross it, or can we go around?" Ororo asked him, hoping he would say the latter.

"We'll go across," Logan replied, "Should be frozen enough now, considerin' how cold it is."

"Are you sure this is safe?" She asked again, and Logan laughed.

"Like I said, 'Ro, trust me." He began to walk out onto the lake, and sure enough it supported his weight. Ororo walked out after him, her stomach in a tight knot as they continued to walk. She watched Logan, an air of confidence about him that made her feel somewhat better. His ears didn't look so red anymore, and nothing about him looked blue, so he must not have been too cold.

They made it across the lake in ten minutes; Ororo sighed in relief when they reached the tree line. They had yet another slope to navigate, this one steeper than the last. "You go first, 'Ro," Logan said, motioning her to go ahead of him. She nodded, and grabbing hold of a tree for support, she began her ascent, hearing Logan coming after her. She felt slightly self-conscious all of a sudden, with Logan having such a view of her posterior. She had no idea why she cared, It must be the cold, she thought.

Continuing to move upwards, her mind on Logan, she did not see the patch of ice before her, and sure enough, she put her foot down on it. Letting out a sharp cry of protest, her feet went backwards, causing her to fall face first into the slope and slide down. Hearing a startled sound from Logan, she soon felt impact with him, causing him to loose his footing and fall square on top of her with a grunt. Together, they slid to the bottom of the slope, covered in snow.

As soon as they stopped, Logan rolled off of Ororo and his face was by hers in a second. "Jesus, Ororo. Are yeh alright?" He helped her up, and she seemed a little dazed. "Did I hurt yeh?" He brushed the snow off of her, never letting go of her hand. When Ororo seemed to snap out of it, she looked at Logan apologetically.

"I'm sorry, Logan. That was really clumsy of me. Now we'll have to climb again." With her free hand, for the other was in Logan's, she wiped the snow off of him. She almost pulled her hand back in shock. He was emitting a great deal of heat, and in the shock of sliding down the hill, she had not noticed that he had made her much warmer simply by being on top of her. "Are you alright, Logan? You feel awfully warm."

Logan gave her a surprised look. "Awfully warm? I woulda thought you'd like warmth." He smiled at her teasingly, and she got that fluttery feeling in her stomach again.

"You know what I mean, Logan. It is freezing out here yet you are emitting a surprising amount of heat. Do you have a fever?"

"Relax 'Ro," Logan pretended to sound exasperated. "I told yeh, I'm used teh the cold. Besides, I've got a thick hide."

Ororo blushed at Logan's last remark. She couldn't help but picture him in nothing but his.... 'hide'...Stop it Ororo. What is wrong with you! This is Logan! She pulled her hand quickly from his, making him raise an eyebrow again. He brushed it off though, looking back up the slope.

"Yeh wanna try again?" he asked her, giving her the option of turning back. Ororo nodded, looking determined. He probably thinks I'm an idiot. I can't even climb a little slope! Adjusting her gloves and scarf, she began to climb the slope again, this time taking advantage of every foot and hand hold she came across.

She stumbled once or twice, Logan's hand always there to steady her. She flushed at one point when he grabbed her thigh, the only thing he could do to stop her from toppling him again. She could feel his heat radiating through his glove.

When they finally reached the top, Ororo had to unzip Logan's jacket and take it off. Her face was red from warmth and relief. She had not slipped badly that time. Logan stood beside her, breath coming out in steady, even streams.

"It's gett'n dark," he muttered, looking up through the trees to the sky. "We'd better pick out a tree."

Ororo voiced her agreement, slipping out of Logan's coat and handing it back to him. He took it, smiling slightly at her, and put it on. Ororo turned red faced to look at the infinite amount of trees before them, but not before she caught the expression on Logan's face when he realized Ororo's scent all over his coat. He had to have expected it, she thought furiously, I was wearing it for over and hour! She suddenly became very embarrassed again. Do I smell...bad? She didn't want to ask him, couldn't dream of asking him that. It would only embarrass him, and her further.

She walked off a little ways, inspecting potential trees while humming Christmas tunes again. She heard Logan move off as well, grumbling something or other. What is he thinking about me? She wondered, but brushed the thought aside when she found what she thought would be the perfect Christmas tree. Tall, full, and a lush shade of winter green, it almost took her breath away. It stood nearly ten feet tall, perfect for the Mansion living room. She unconsciously began to sing 'O Holy Night," running her fingers over the healthy green needles. She heard Logan say something far behind her, but caught up in the tree, she ignored him. Jubilee and the others will be happy with this tree, so much-"

Her thoughts were cut short by a snowball making impact between her shoulder blades. Spinning around, she found Logan staring at her with his arms crossed. "Keep singing like that, 'Ro, and there won't be any wild life left in this forest." He gave her a mock snide look. Momentarily furious, Ororo bent down and scooped up as much snow as she could, balling it up to throw at Logan, but when she straightened up, another snowball hit her square in the face, the soft, powdery crystals fluttering everywhere upon impact. She stumbled backwards, landing on her rear end, more furious than ever. She had dropped her snow ball upon being hit, and now concentrated on sending a blizzard in Logan's direction.

Surprise sprang on to Logan's face as he was surrounded by what ended up being a thick blanket of snow covering him from head to toe. Ororo's laughter was cut short when his claws sprang forth from the snow 'sculpture' and sent the whole thing toppling, revealing a displeased Logan. He hardly had time to voice his displeasure before he was pummeled in the face himself by a snowball. Ororo began to laugh again, only to have to scramble away less she be hit even more by showers of snowballs.

"Come 'ere, Doll, I haven't shown yeh MY definition of a 'snow job'," he growled at her.

"Only if you can catch me, Frosty," Ororo giggled, feeling like a young school girl. Logan lunged at her, only to have her move nimbly out of the way. Snarling playfully, Logan moved slowly towards her.

"I've give yeh a five second head start, and then I'm comin' after yeh," he winked evilly at her. Ororo gave him a look of mock fear and started to slowly walk away from him. "One," he started, but Ororo didn't move any faster. "Two." She looked behind her shoulder, fluttering her eyelashes at him. "Three." This time she didn't turn around. "Four." She stuck her tongue out at him. "FIVE!"

Ororo let out a little gasp of surprise as she saw him charge towards her, and running herself, she weaved in and out of the trees, Logan always only a few steps behind. "You're fast, Frosty, but I'm FASTER!" she outran him a couple of more steps, laughing the whole time.

"I wouldn't count on it, Darl'n," Logan replied, speeding up himself until he was running along side with her. Ororo looked over in surprise. "Merry Christmas," Logan smiled evilly before running sideways into her, sending them both into the snowy ground. "Caught yeh."

Ororo laughed wildly as Logan kneeled over top of her and began covering her with snow. She feebly attempted to throw snow in his face but was unsuccessful. Her eyes suddenly widened. "Logan, you got it down my shirt!" she screamed, feeling the cold against her skin. Logan only laughed, letting her up. She jumped around, flapping the front of her jacket and shirt letting the snow fall from it. When she was satisfied, she turned to Logan who was still on his knees and pushed him over. Gasping, she tried to pull herself from his grip as he pulled her down with him.

"Careful, Darl'n, or I might stick icicles in your bed," Logan threatened, his ice blue eyes gleaming mischievously. Ororo pulled herself up so she was straddling him.

"Then I will just have to bring a snow storm in over your bed while you sleep." They both laughed, which was followed by mutual silence. Both of their breath came out in short, quick rasps, the fog mingling and dancing together. Ororo broke the silence by singing 'Joy to the World,' and Logan responded with mock horror. Eyes widening and hands covering his hears, he pretended to be suffering thoroughly at the sound of Ororo's voice, which made her lean down closer to his face and sing louder. When Ororo least expected it, Logan uncovered one ear and brought his hand to Ororo's face, bringing her face close enough to his so he could kiss her. Eye's widening in surprise at the feel of Logan's warm and dry lips against hers, she immediately stopped singing. The kiss ended as soon as it started.

"What was that for?" Ororo managed to say, too shocked to think of anything else. Logan seemed shocked himself, but covered it up quickly with a grin.

"It shut yeh up, didn't it?"

Insulted, and a little disappointed, by his answer, Ororo picked up a fist full of snow and smeared it in his face. Getting up, she stalked off in the direction they had come. She heard Logan getting up and following her.

"Where yeh goin'" he asked, walking up beside her.

"I saw a tree up over here that I think would be perfect," she replied curtly, brushing snow off of her as she walked. The nerve! She thought.

"Yeah? Well let me have a look at this tree," Logan replied, just a curtly. He probably has no idea why I am upset, Ororo thought angrily, but she had to ask herself a question...Why AM I upset?...

Sure enough, when Logan saw the tree, he was thoroughly impressed. "Good job, 'Ro, everyone will love it."

Ororo nodded her agreement. "So we will get this one?" she asked as though unimpressed. She did not look at Logan, but she heard him sigh.

The descent down the slope to the lake was slightly harder than the ascent. With Logan at the base of the ten foot tree, heading down the slope first, and Ororo following with the top of the tree, both them stumbled frequently.

"Careful, 'Ro," Logan would call often, and the last time he did, Ororo snapped at him.

"I am being careful! Do you think I am going this slowly for fun?" She regretted her words, it was not like her to be so unkind for reasons even she was not quite aware of. He kissed me to shut me up, that is what is upsetting me! Ororo thought angrily.

When they both reached the bottom of the slope, Logan dropped his end of the tree and walked around to Ororo. He looks angry. Good.

"What's your problem, Ororo?" he demanded, standing in front of her with his arms crossed.

"I don't know what you are talking about," Ororo replied, moving around him, but he caught her arm.

"I'm talkin' about yeh being angry with me," Logan snapped, twisting Ororo's arm so that she was facing him. "Is it because I kissed yeh?" he inquired, not letting go of her arm.

"Of course not," Ororo snapped back, snatching her arm away from him and walking out onto the lake.

"Then do yeh mind tell'n me what I did?" Logan sounded impatient and annoyed. "We were havin' fun until yeh decided teh go all prissy on me."

"Prissy?" Ororo sounded shocked and angry that he would use the word to describe her. "PRISSY?"

"That's right, Darl'n, PRISSY! It was just a harmless kiss. No need teh get-"

"I told you , Logan, it wasn't the kiss," Ororo insisted angrily. "If you don't know what upset me, then maybe you should-"

She didn't get a chance to finish her sentence, the ice beneath her feet creaking dangerously. Logan stepped out instinctively on the ice to grab her, but his weight was too much. Jumping back, he watched Ororo fall through the broken ice, too shocked to fly up to safety or jump back as he did.

"ORORO!" he shouted after her, pulling off his jacket, gloves, and boots as quickly as he could, but he knew he could not go in the water, he would only sink... Standing helpless, looking into the water, his breath came out raggedly. He shouted her name again, it was no use. He could not go in to save her, his skeleton was too heavy. "Jesus, 'Ro," he almost sobbed, not remembering the last time he felt so helpless. He didn't know if she could survive that kind of cold.

Feeling sick to his stomach, Logan fell to his knees, and pushing up the sleeves of his sweater, he went down on his stomach and plunged him arm in the icy water, wincing at the cold. He moved his arm around vigorously, trying to see if he could get a hold of her, but he felt nothing. Losing the feeling in his arm, he almost gave up in despair when he felt the softness of Ororo's hair in his fingers. He immediately pushed his arm in farther, feeling the fabric of her jacket in her hands, and grabbing it with stiff fingers, he started to pull her out of the water.

She was unconscious when she emerged, a gash in her temple where a chunk of ice struck her when she fell. Logan pulled her all the way out and rested her head on his coat while he struggled to see if she were still alive. She was still breathing, she had not been unconscious long enough in the water to drown. He put his boots and gloves on a quickly as he could, and leaving the tree, he picked her up in his arms, and made a hasty return to his truck, praying the whole way that she was still alive.

When he reached the truck, he tried to balance her while trying to open the door to the cargo section on his truck as quickly as he could manage. She would get frost bite very soon, if she didn't already have it, if he didn't move any faster.

Once he had the door open, he placed her inside and moved to a trunk he kept in the back for emergencies. He opened it an pulled out a thick, wool blanket that he quickly brought over to Ororo. Then, checking to make sure she was still breathing, he tried to remove her wet clothing, but his fingers were too stiff and cold to move fast enough. Unsheathing his claws, he carefully ran them down the length of her body then simply peeled her frozen clothes off of her. He completely ignored the nakedness of her body and breathed despairingly when he saw that her skin was looking waxy, a sign of frost bite. He quickly wrapped her in the wool blanket, careful not to bump her around.

The wound on her head was not bleeding anymore, the blood frozen around it. He quickly got out of the cargo trunk and opened the door to the drivers side, turning the key to the ignition just enough so that he could turn the heater on. He then climbed in so he could reach the glove compartment, where he found a first aid kit. Jumping out, he ran back around to the cargo trunk and climbed in, closing the door to keep the heat in. He began to work on Ororo's head wound until it was cleaned and bandaged. He then reached under the wool blanket to see if she was warming up. She was not.

Cursing, Logan stripped his own clothes off, preparing to share his body heat with her. He tossed his clothing in the corner of the truck, and lifted back the blanket, slipping in beside Ororo. Throwing the blanket over so that it was both under and over them, he pulled Ororo up tightly against his body, wincing at the frigidness of her. He was careful not to rub against her, but lay perfectly still, waiting for her body to warm.

"Come on, 'Ro," He begged her, "Please be alright."....

Ororo's eyes fluttered open, her head aching dully, though not as badly as it had before. Her forehead was pressed against something wonderfully warm, though it was too dark to see what. She heard and felt the breathing of another person beside her, and it took her a moment to realized where she was.

She sat up quickly, face burning with embarrassment, covering her nakedness as best she could with her arms. She turned to see a very naked Logan sit up beside her, looking relieved. He smiled at her.

"I wasn't sure if yeh'd make it, 'Ro," he spoke softly to her.

"Wha-What-" she started, but her shock made it too hard for her to speak. She saw Logan flush as well.

"Yeh had frost bite, Darl'n," he explained, stammering. "I had teh warm yeh up, is all."

"What about the tree?" she asked, something that shocked Logan.

"I didn't think yeh'd mind too much if I opted teh save your life instead of the tree's," he replied slowly, not sure if she was paying attention to him. Ororo's face darkened. "Still mad at me, I see," Logan muttered, and shifted uncomfortably under the wool blanket. Ororo didn't answer. "Look, Ororo, if your not going teh tell me what I did, how am I not supposed teh do it again? Your not be'n very reasonable."

"Reasonable?" Ororo spun around, her arms not covering her breasts anymore, making Logan avert his eyes. "You are the one who kissed me for no other reason than to shut me up! How dare you play with my emotions like that!"

Logan's eyes shot back up, staring hard into hers. "Shut yeh up?"

"That's right!," Ororo snapped, "You kissed me and I stopped singing, and when I asked you what it was for, you told me it was to 'shut me up'! By the Goddess, Logan, sometimes you are so inconsiderate!"

Logan's own face darkened. "Now look here, Darl'n," he said in a low voice. "I didn't kiss yeh teh shut yeh up! Maybe I used your sing'n for an excuse, but maybe if yeh didn't toy around with me, I wouldn't have felt the need," he saw her eyes widen as he spoke, "And maybe if yeh didn't smell so damned good-"

"So you kissed me because I smell good? I'm not some animal, Logan!"

"Well maybe I am!" Logan roared at her, making her lean back, slightly afraid. He sighed, clearly at a loss. He looked down and ran his hands through his hair, leaving them there to support his head. "I'm sorry, Ororo," he said very softly, so softly Ororo had to strain to hear. "I didn't kiss yeh teh shut yeh up, and I didn't kiss yeh 'cause yeh smell good either." He took a deep breath, not looking up at her. "It's just that ever since Jeanie married Scott-" Oh no! Ororo thought, he telling me that I'm rebound... "- I've been feel'n like shit. Truth is, Darl'n, you're the only person that I feel 'good' around. You're the only person who can make me forget my problems. You're one of my close friends, 'Ro, and I'm sorry if I ruined it, but-" his voice trailed off. "I'll go get the tree," he said abruptly, afraid he had revealed to much of his emotions. Ororo probably though he was off his rocker. She didn't say anything while he got dressed, didn't say anything when he opened the door of the cargo trunk, didn't say anything when he went to close it.

Angry at himself and feeling bitter, he made his way quickly into the forest, hoping Ororo wouldn't drive off without him. He was perfectly capable of surviving out here; he just preferred to sleep in a bed that night. He deeply regretted having kissed Ororo, she was too good a friend to go ruin everything like that. What was he thinking? What kind of animal was he to let the scent of her make him want her so bad? Shaking his head, he continued to walk in the dark, making his way to the tree.

A voice came from behind him, startling him to turn around. He could smell her before he saw her, and she came running after him, wrapped in the wool blanket and wearing her boots. "Logan," she called again as she got closer.

"What are yeh doing, Ororo? You should stay in the truck where it's warm!" His voice was stern, yet he was curious to know why she had followed him.

"I know that, Logan, but I had to-to..." her voice trailed off and she just looked at him.

"I don't need help with the tree, go on back teh the truck where it's warm!"

"I did not come out here to help with the tree," Ororo replied just as sternly.

"Then what the hell are yeh doing, Darl'n? I got the message, you're mad at me!"

Ororo smiled at him. "I've a new message for you, Logan."

Raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms, Logan replied: "And what might that be?" He was not prepared for Ororo rushing towards him; he was not prepared for her to press herself against him; and, he was definitely not prepared for her to kiss him. Her lips were warm and soft against his, pressing so lightly Logan was afraid to return her kiss. I made this mistake once, he thought, I'm not sure I should take the chance of making it again...

Ororo pulled away, looking at him with tearing eyes. "I just wanted to tell you that I wanted you to kiss me. I was just confused at what you said to me. I am sorry Logan." He stared at her in utter disbelief, and she smiled and kissed him again, this time a little harder. Logan responded this time, moving his lips ever so slowly over hers, careful of hurting her.

Ororo managed to completely surprise him when she went to wrap her arms around his neck, revealing that she had nothing on under the blanket, which made sense. Her clothes where still cold and wet. He tensed when he felt her warm, naked body press against him, and she broke the kiss, looking ashamed. "I am sorry, Logan, I did not mean to...upset you."

"No, no, Darl'n, I'm not upset," Logan tried to reassure her. "I'm just not sure if this is right for yeh. Yeh hit your head pretty hard back there," his hand drifted to the bandage at her head, but Ororo only smiled.

"My head is fine, Logan. You tended to me well." She still had her arms around Logan's neck, and Logan's hand pressed firmly on her back was the only thing keeping the wool blanket from falling from her. "As for this being right for me, it feels very right, now." Her words made Logan smile, and she moved to kiss him again. This time, Logan parted his lips slowly, and Ororo followed suit; and timidly, for Logan felt he had to be gentle with her, he slid his tongue past her lips, only to be greeted by her own tongue. They stood there, in the dark winter forest, sharing a passionate kiss that both hoped would turn into something more.

Ororo began to unzip Logan's coat, and Logan maneuvered his arms so that he could take it off and hold the blanket to Ororo at the same time. "It's awfully cold out here, Darl'n" Logan murmured against her neck, suggesting they go back to the truck.

"I'm feeling very hot, Logan, and it is too far to the truck," Ororo replied, which ignited a fire in him, making him bring his lips back to hers and kiss her passionately. He moved her forwards slightly, until her back came up against a tree, where he continued to kiss her lips, then her neck, and down across her breasts. Very gently, he brought his lips to her nipples, and kissing them gently, he heard her sigh while her fingers wrapped themselves in his hair. He teased her breasts, first with his lips, then with his tongue, the whole time being very gentle. When he gently sucked one of her nipples, he heard her whisper his name, and his lips trailed back up to hers, which she accepted almost hungrily. He tugged at his hooded sweatshirt, and while her back pressing up against the tree held the blanket in place, he removed the sweatshirt. Ororo moved so she could wrap the blanket around the both of them, the heat trapped inside keeping them warm.

Her own lips traveled down his jaw line while Logan removed a glove and began to caress her inner thigh. Her legs spread slightly for him, revealing the immense heat between her legs which made him growl softly.

Ororo's lips worked down his neck and to his chest while Logan's had found her womanhood, and began to touch her in ways that made her sigh softly. With one hand, Ororo held the blanket in place around them while the other moved to Logan's belt buckle. She tried to undo it with no luck, and Logan's free hand moved to help her, releasing it and leaving his jean zipper free for her to dispose of.

She slid it down slowly, revealing Logan's dark boxers underneath. Ororo reached in slowly, almost timidly, to grasp the hardness of his sex within. Gasping slightly as she touched it, and feeling dizzy from the feelings Logan's hand was inflicting between her thighs, Ororo struggled to push down both his boxers and his jeans, while kissing him at the same time.

Logan removed his hand from between her thighs and pressed his lower half against her, making her kiss him more deeply. Moving his hands around her to her rear end, he cupped her and lifted her gently, and adjusting his position, he lowered her very slowly onto him, while feeling her lips move hungrily over his. She wrapped her legs around him, pushing him further into her, and their lips parted as Ororo arched her slender neck, her eyes closing as she relished the feel of him within her.

Logan began to move gently in her, his thrusts slow, for she felt fragile in his arms, like the delicate weather goddess she was. She moved against him, fueling the fire within him that made him want to hurtle into her with passion, but he kept his slow pace until he felt like he could hold back no more. Ororo whispered his name, almost begging him to take her to wherever it is that lovers go, and Logan had no choice but to move harder into her, feeling as though he might explode. She moved hard with him, their bodies pressed firmly against the tree, and when Ororo cried his name out, tightening her legs around him, he came to his own climax, driving harder and harder into her until they both slumped together, Ororo's forehead resting against his chest. Their breath came out in ragged and quick gasps, and Logan whispered her name into her hair.

They stood like that for several minutes, neither knowing if what they had done was the right thing, and neither caring. They felt utterly content in each other's arms, and an unspoken love rested between them. Logan could smell it from Ororo, and Ororo could tell by the way Logan held her against him.

When the Christmas tree finally fluttered into their minds, it hardly seemed to matter, though both knew they could not go home empty handed. Yet when Logan pulled back and looked at Ororo, he only smiled.

"When did we tell them we would be back?" Ororo asked softly.

"Tomorrow, at the latest," Logan replied, kissing her forehead.

"Then the tree can wait," Ororo stated, smiling mischievously, and started humming to the tune of 'O Christmas Tree'. Logan couldn't help but laugh, as Ororo allowed him to get himself organized before he scooped her up in his arms, carrying her back towards the truck.

"Merry Christmas, 'Ro," Logan whispered softly to her.
